I bought it at my school’s Scholastic Book Fair.
What did you like the most about this book?
The story had a lot of suspense, you didn’t really know what was going to happen the next day to the main character, Toby, like if he was going to survive or not, and what dangers he would encounter.
What would you tell your best friend about this book?
It’s about a 12-year-old boy, Toby, who is trying to journey the whole Appalachian Trail by himself. One of the first days on the trail, Toby meets a dog that he names, “Moose.” Moose ends up hiking along with him, and they meet other people and friends along the way.
Why do you think another kid should read this book?
If you’re into adventure stories or books about people trying to survive harsh environments, then you would enjoy this story.

It’s a great book and it has a good ending to it!
