Where did you find this book?
I found this novel in the Teen Section of the local library. I had been waiting to read it, and I was happy to find it there during my last visit.
What did you like the most about this book?
One of the best parts of this story is when Ty, the main character, goes down to Miami to play in a 7-on-7 football tournament. In the competition, he plays against Troy White, who eventually becomes his friend. Ty and Troy get into a little bit of trouble together, and they figure out something really cool about each other!
What would you tell your best friend about this book?
This is a great book about a 7th grade boy, Ty, and the ups and downs in his life. At one point, Ty and his brother, Thane, who is a rookie in the NFL playing for the New York Jets, are being chased by some bad people running from the FBI!
Why do you think another kid should read this book?
What makes Deep Zone a great book is that it has a lot of suspense, football, the power of friendship, and problem-solving in it.
Any additional comments:
If you read this story, you’ll see the dedication page from the author, and find out who the real Ty, Troy, and Thane are! Deep Zone is the fifth book in a series called Football Genius, that starts with the book titled, Football Genius, which is about Troy White.
